Martin-Pierre Frenette

Like most free thinkers, I am a complex individual since I do not follow a single archetype in life.

Let me divided my life in simple to list components :

• I was born in 1976, in Montréal, Québec, Canada
• I live with my wife and 9 years old daughter in a house in Rivière-Des-Prairies, Montréal, Québec, Canada
• I drive a Honda Civic LX 2012
• I have graduated top of my school in "Technologies des Systêmes Ordinés", (or Computer System Technologies) from the "Institut Ordinique du Québec", a course focused on developping both software and hardware solutions using microprocessors.
• I received 3 honor mentions : twice by the school as their best student and by the "Ordre des Technologues Professionels du Québec" as best student for the province of Québec
• I also have a System Analysis and Design degree from the McGill University
• I am president of Cablan.net, a web hosting and development company I co-founded in 2001
• I am Typehead for Canada, meaning I was selected to help spread the good news about TYPO3, a wonderful open source Content management system
• I am a Certified TYPO3 Integrator
• I program in PHP and AJAX. I used to program in C# and Visual C++
• I love philosophy, politics, science fiction and programming
• I am a post-conformist
• I love to write fiction. I have the first draft of a movie script written and I have written hundreds of short stories
• I am on the left socially, but on the right economically. I belong to the "Compassionate Right of Québec"
